Shipping – Should we Ship Direct or Advance to the Warehouse?
Show Management will pay the material handling fees for all shipments that are sent direct to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. However, unloading is on 1st come, 1st served basis and it takes time. Don't schedule your booth set-up labor for first thing in the morning on the day your freight is scheduled to arrive, as they may end up sitting there waiting for hours with nothing to set-up at your cost. If you ship direct to the convention center, we would suggest scheduling your booth set-up labor to start no earlier than 11:00 am.

Shipping in advance to the RES warehouse ensures your booth materials will be in your booth space when you arrive. There is a cost for this, but it is minimal, i.e., $25-30 per CWT. (see pages 67-69 of the Exhibitor Service Manual)

Scheduling Booth Set-up Labor & Forklift Labor
IMPORTANT… Please order any labor you need in advance, otherwise it will be provided on an "as available basis" on-site, and there may be some wait time. Also, if you are working with an outside company to set-up and take down your booth, i.e., exhibitor appointed contractor (EAC), display house/ booth installation & dismantle company, please make sure you send them the Exhibitor Service Manual and any exhibitor bulletins and or information.

Hanging Signs
As hanging signs require some sort of high lift to install, they are generally put up before the booth structure. Please be sure to ship hanging signs to the RES advance warehouse, and also schedule labor in advance from RES. Also, be sure to send RES a diagram of the hanging sign, placement, and any electrical requirements.

Utilities (i.e., Electrical, Compressed Air, Plumbing) Orders
If you are planning to order utilities (i.e., electric, compressed air, plumbing) from RES for your booth, be sure to order in advance and send RES booth diagrams with your order indicating placement of any utilities you may require. This will save you a lot of time (and money) when you arrive.
