Engineering the Environment with “Free Cooling”

The Pathfinder’s NEW integrated water-side economizer option, commonly referred to as “free cooling,” uses lower outdoor air temperatures to naturally cool the building’s glycol loop through an array of coils in series with the chiller condenser system. This drastically reduces the energy demand on the mechanical system, resulting in substantial cost savings for building owners over the life of the equipment.
