Where to Park and Unload Freight
If you are driving your own vehicle and booth freight to The ASSEMBLY Show, assuming your first stop is to unload, please read the following.
Cars, SUV’s, and or Vans (no trucks or trailers), can go directly to Hall A overhead door for unloading. Please see page 69 of the Exhibitor Service Manual for “Freight Check-in Procedures” and a map of how to get to the Hall A overhead door.
Straight trucks, larger vehicles, or vehicles with trailers would check in at the RES Marshaling Yard prior to going to the convention center and being unloaded. Directions to the RES Marshaling Yard are on Page 69 of the Exhibitor Service Manual.

Once you are finished unloading (and before you begin setting up your booth), you will need to park your vehicle. Parking for all vehicles (with the exception of tractor trailers) can be accommodated at the convention center parking garage, which is located on Williams street directly across from the convention center near the Doubletree Hotel and Gibson’s Restaurant. Straight trucks and larger vehicles, and or vehicles with trailers would park on Level 1.

The cost is $15 per day (24 hour period). Please note, there are not “in and out” privileges, i.e., each time you go in and out you will pay. Or, exhibitors can purchase a parking pass at the RES Service Center (located inside the exhibit hall) for the duration of the move-in, show and move-out for $40.00, to include in and out privileges. You can purchase the parking pass after you initially park and go back to the exhibit hall to set-up your booth. There is a Sky Bridge connecting the garage to the convention center or you can simply walk across the street. If you have any questions about parking, you can contact the Convention Center Parking Supervisor, Stacey Sansone at expoparking@villageofrosemont.org.
Rosemont Area Restaurants and Dining
There are a lot of great restaurants, many within walking distance from the Convention Center, in Rosemont. Almost all the area hotels will have a concierge desk in their lobby to assist you with restaurant suggestions and reservations. Additionally, the Rosemont Convention Bureau can assist with restaurant reservations from their information kiosk in the lobby of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center during The ASSEMBLY Show.

Visit this information kiosk for a copy of Rosemont Visitor’s Guide to locate lodging, entertainment, and cultural facilities, and to enjoy the ambience of international cuisine at Rosemont and Chicagoland area restaurants.

During the opening Taste of Rosemont reception on Tuesday, October 24 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm participants will be able to sample cuisine from local area Rosemont restaurants. We encourage you to dine at our Taste of Rosemont participating restaurants.

The all-new MB Financial Park at Rosemont is located one block west of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The Park features a series of restaurants and live entertainment venues, including Hofbräuhaus House, Fogo De Chão, Five Roses Irish Pub, Bub City and Joe’s Live.

In addition to the MB Financial Park, Rosemont is home to some of the finest restaurants in the Chicago area. Gibsons Steakhouse, Morton's, Gene & Georgetti and Carlucci are all fine dining establishments.

Additionally, there are various casual spots including Gino’s East, known for its Chicago style deep dish pizza. And last, but certainly not least…go to page 5 & 6 of the Exhibitor Service Manual, for information about Rosemont’s “Show Your Badge” dining specials! Present your badge at any of the Rosemont area restaurants listed and receive special offers with a purchase of an entree! Must show tradeshow badge for discount.
