High-Rise Passive House Protects VRF install with Innovative Lineset Enclosures
COMPANY VIDEO NAME

Meadowbrook Place, a 145-unit development is Ontario’s largest Passive House.

To meet energy efficiency requirements and maintain temperature control throughout the building, nine VRF systems were installed. As the systems were placed on the rooftop, the linesets would be exposed to sunlight, weather elements, and pests.

Protecting the refrigerant lines from weather and mechanical damage is essential to maintain the system’s functionality and to preserve the energy efficiency of the air conditioning system. With that in mind they installed Slimduct RD a metal lineset enclosure system for VRF/VRV applications that will protect the lines for many years to come.
