Effectively heating a carwash tunnel with Cambridge HTHV heaters
Heating and ventilating a car wash tunnel can be challenging when addressing the conditions specific to the facility itself, such as corrosive chemicals, high humidity and open tunnel doors. The Cambridge S-Series HTHV heater utilizes 100% outside air to minimize freeze-up conditions, which reduces downtime and lost profits. Additionally, the warm dry air reduces fogging conditions in the tunnel on cold days, and dries the facility during non-occupied hours. The heaters are able to achieve 92% energy efficiency while delivering 160°F discharge air reducing wear and tear on the heater itself to extend its equipment life and lower maintenance costs.
